definitely appreciate the pic advice (Lurker as well for the local advice of what i don't understand) everything you explain on here helps quite a bit, even the simple and often forgotten tips, don't leave home w/o a tripod , rule of thirds, etc... ps. I love my w810i as well and am definitely a Sony fan

hey armin i have a question how do i convert my raw files to jpeg so i can load them on to a photo hosting site and post them here? i do have some pictures in jpeg that i took i will post them up and you can tell me what i am doing wrong lol.

Not a Subaru but what do you guys think. Could of used a small amount of flash to high light the wheels I think.

^^ i agree with a little flash to brighten up some things. i like em though. looks kinda stealthy

The TT shots above look good... you're getting some significant chromatic abberation (purple fringing) around the lights, so selectively bring down your magenta around them so that they don't distract from the main subject.

I agree, Mike...the sponge tool in Photoshop works very well for this as well

As for the second shot, I think the reason why it doesn't appeal to me as much is because the top of the photo is just a big empty sky, with artificial lighting reflecting off the cloud. To me personally it's just not very interesting. Hope this helps! Armin |
