borla headers
--> $400? $450? shop around, I'm not sure.

k&n or amsoil filter in stock airbox, deleted fender silencer, opened bumper vent, OEM fender plug (this results in true cold air intake while keeping your MAF alive and metering properly)
--> $35-40 plus your time.

exhaust (small gain, sounds neat though)
--> $200-500+

underdrive pulley (small gain, voltage sag is a concern)
--> $150-180 with belts.

fresh NGK V-Power copper sparkplugs
--> less than $10

___

that's the end of the reasonable list. slightly less reasonable:

Apex'i Super AFC fuel computer
--> err... $300? shop around.

Cobb Tuning street cams
--> $499 plus installation

Nitrous (dry kit, with brain and FPR)
--> $600-800, I haven't seriously priced them because I'll want one.

Cylinder head porting
--> free if you do it yourself like me, otherwise could be big $

Turbocharging
--> see the aftermarket forced induction forum and bring $3000-5000 at a minimum. you can easily spend more even if you don't break anything.

Do have anyother detials about this mod. Not sure on exactly what needs to be done. "Opened bumper vent" & "Deleted Air Box". I would be greatfull if you could explain how to go about this. Thanks again.

it was documented in an old issue of sport compact car, but that probably won't do you any good.

it's documented somewhat-- no pics-- here on the iClub, go to the homepage and look under Mods, and then look under '01 2.5RS mods for "Intake Silencer Removal".

also look in the appropriate forum of www.scoobymods.com
