Default Will installing Hella Supertones void any part of my warranty on my '11 WRX?

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Hella Supertone horns for my '11 WRX. I probably won't do any of the installation but I know a shop that does pretty good work for Subarus. The thing is, will installing the new horns void any part of my warranty on my WRX? If any electricals start failing is it possible for them to use my new aftermarket horns as an excuse to deny me coverage?

Ah that's not my car. But it's what it will hopefully look very similar to when I get some hella supertones on my WRX. Heres what it looks like right now.

doesn't matter, I love wrb on '11. If I had blue Suby I'd go with white or red accent.
Very clean ride bro!

It shouldn't - however, if you run into a service writer who is a real weiner, they could concievably give you a hard time... I wouldn't worry about it (esp. if you use the relay which comes with them)

Thanks for the reply. I was worrying about the same thing, but I've looked through some of the install guides and it doesn't look like I need to cut into any of the oem wires correct? And the oem horn is not going to be removed either. I just don't want my turbo to explode and they blame my horns for it.

I highly doubt you'd have any issues, but if you want to be careful you could buy the subimods wiring harness which has a relay and is plug and play:

You will definitely void your warranty.

On your horn.

Your only concern would be wiring them up wrong, and then causing damage that way.

If you did that, clearly they would not fix it under warranty.

Other than that, no you really have nothing to worry about.
