Default Ej20 rebuild kits?

Do such things exist? Where would I find one? Or do I just have to piece it all together?

too many possibilities of things to go wrong which require a rebuild and replacement.
The most common things you typically have to get anyway is a master gasket kit and a timing belt kit while things are apart.

I'm just looking at building a fresh little ej20 internally. I didn't know if there was a whole kit I could buy with rods, pistons, bearings, heads, gaskets, and everything else. I know I'll have to get a crank separately but I didn't know if something like that existed.

only kits like that that im aware of that include most on your list are stroker kits, if thats what you're looking for.
You can always contact the bigger vendors on this site, they might be able to piece a package deal if you ask.

you can get one, but if you buy a oem short block, that is the most affordable way to go. But for what you are asking, here you go

I just paid $2000 for a brand new factory EJ20...IMHO that's the best way to go...All factory tolerances...no headaches...$300 for the heads to get rebuilt and I'm done. (while its all apart I'm replacing the oil pump, water pump, timing set, clutch, going with a catless up pipe, and other misc parts so total bill is going to be just north of $4k)

Thank you all for your input. I'm going with a new short block.

As an aside, is there somewhere that sells a factory shortblock with upgraded internals or is this a case where you purchase the shortblock and have the shop do the upgraded internals if you plan on going with slightly elevated power levels (300-350 whp) range.
