im getting new wheels soon and im really thinking on the 522, but im not sure if to go for the 17x9 + 42, or the 17x9 + 25. Also will i have fitment problems with either since its an 04 STI? does anyone know? thanks

42 is easier to fit cuz of the high offset.. Right kristina??

It REALLY depends on how low your car is going to be. The +42 rubbed on the inside of my wheel well. And when I switched to my current wheels which are +23, I didn't have any sort of fitment issues because I had already slightly pulled my fenders in the rear and it stopped rubbing on the inside. So it's really hard to tell! haha.

If you are willing to pull your rear quarter panels, I would DEFINITELY recommend +25. This is all assuming you are going to be running stretched tires though. I recommend looking at www.willtheyfit.com. Just kinda shows you the difference between the set ups and helps you really put into prospective if you want to do that offset.

Yo man could you show a better pic of the amount of stretch you have with those tires. I'm thinking about going with the same wheels just curious as to tire size. Do you regret not getting +25? or is +38 plenty?

How much do 527's weigh? I must say... they look awesome! Are they "copies" of the TC105N's?

I'm wondering how those wheels would fit without "super stretch" of tires. Like a 17" x 8.75" with normal sized tire width of 245. I wish they made a wheel of that concavity with a normal offset.
