Default koni yellows all 4 struts for $600???

Am i mistaken or is teague's actually selling them for this price? It's directly on his site. So instead of doing the inserts for that price, the sport shocks/struts from koni are the same price at teague's. Am i hallucinating or wut?http://home.att.net/~teaguesauto/suspensi.htm
That would mean that i can have my prodrive springs and koni single adjustables without cutting anything around 1000 shipped.

Someone shed some light onto this.

I'm going to guess they are the inserts, but the picture is not representative of what you actually get. I think it's pretty much a standard that yellow Konis are single adjustable, and if they were making full replacement struts of any kind we would have heard about them before now.

I think your righ wrxsvt.

if you read the description, it says "Koni Shock Absorber" not "strut". so they probably are teh inserts. the best way to figure it out is to call or email them and ask. I'm getting my inerts from a tire rack connection

They are the inserts, I have emailed Teagues about this already. He sent me an email and he will install them into the stock struts for you if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself. Just email him and ask him about pricing. I am trying to save up some money so I can buy these Koni's as well. Hope this helps.

like others have said, they are inserts

they are rebound adjustable, but the adjuster is on the top (last time I used them on my DSM) which poses a problem for sedan owners

This brings me to another question I have. I have a sedan and I'd have to pull the back seats out to install the struts, correct? If that is the case, then am I going to have to remove the back seats everytime i need to readjust them?

Nope!

You just pull the top edge of the cushion away and there's enough room to get the knob in there.

What is involved with intalling these inserts into the stock strut housing? I have installed inserts into rebuildable struts before. Is there any special procedure for these?

Do a quick search. There's a few of us that have posted pics and instructions in the last month or so, some with good detailed step by step info.

so teague's will do them on stock struts for you? I wonder what the extra charge is. Maybe it is some kind of exchange program? Where he sends you the whole strut all setup and installed and you just send him your stock struts after you've gotten the new setup? Personally, that'd be easier, but it all depends if teague's will charge you an arm and a leg for it OR just charge you at all. Because i'm willing to bet if he had the exchange program going on, and it was a significantly cheap price to do the exchange if not free, then he'd get way more business than others sellling the insert.

He quoted me a price a few weeks ago and it was very reasonable. And yes it was an exchange deal where he sent you the complete set up and you send him your stockers once you take them off. There was a core charge initially but you get it back when he gets your old struts. I would do it but I dont have the cash right now. I dont want to tell you what he quoted me because I dont want to put words in his mouth but I can tell you that it was very reasonable. Just shoot him an email and he will let you know.
