Dyno tune: 2.5 hybrid - Dom 2.5R - 93 octane - 338 whp
Event: dyno tune
Car: 2003 WRX Location: P&L Motorsports, Franklin Park, Illinois Ambient Temp: Run conditions were 73.25 degrees F Elevation:Unknown Weather: Indoor tune in November Tuner: Jorge at P&L Motorsports, Franklin Park/Chicago, Illinois Dyno Info: Dynojet Peak HP at RPM: 337.63 @6270 rpm Peak Torque at RPM: 326.74 @ 3550 rpm (uncorrected) Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: Unknown Target Boost: 20psi Target AFR: ~11:1 Fuel: Unleaded 93 octane Engine/Power Modifications: Raw Performance's ej25 street series short block 03 WRX heads accessport Blouch Dom 2.5r (ppc'd) DW 850 injectors P&L highFLO intake aps inlet, aps tmic GrimmSpeed ewg with tial 38mm wastegate catless tbe wrapped Ingen crosspipe coated TGV deletes phenolic intake manifold spacers and ppc'd manifolds Driveline Modifications: Act sport clutch act streetlight flywheel Suspension Modifications: Crucial springs koni strut inserts hotchkis front/rear sway bars Cusco ft/r strut bars group-N tranny and motor mounts ingalls pitch mount 17" SSR Comp wheels Wanted it tuned with 50-50 meth/water but *my SMC water injection kit wasn't working when tuned so I'm gonna replace it with another kit and get tuned with meth injection in a month or so. Anyway, I think those are the primary power mods. Ended up getting 338 whp and 327 torque at 20 psi on P&L's dynajet. I'm happy with those results and expect 360+ with alky. I was hoping for around 350-375 whp so the end result should be just what I wanted. The turbo spools nicely as I hit peak torque by 3500 rpms or so.Boost hits fast and holds rock solid. Very smooth delivery of power. Here's the plot posted on fanatics for anyone interested:* http://www.WRXFanatics.com/index.php?showtopic=61181

Copy and save that plot from the other forum, then host it on flickr or Photobucket. From flickr, just copy the image and paste it here. From Photobucket, copy and paste the IMG code (4th of 4 formats in the list). Last edited by Audiosavvy; 11-29-2009 at 01:46 PM. |

2.5xt-r...boy, I don't know. Purchased 3 months ago so probably not. When did the xt-r come out?
Maxpowr, good luck with your build. I've got 3000 miles on the engine at this point. I'll try to get the graph displayed. |
