Hey all. I just picked up a 2001 2.5rs w/ 80k on the clock & one owner. Pretty excited.

I've had multiple S-Chassis cars (turbo and n/a) and a couple of low Lexus'.
I've always wanted one of these and finally found a car worthy of throwing my money at. I'll try and creep into a meet if I see one posted, though I'm always working.

I really need some help guys. List below:
I have a set of stock sti struts that need rebuilt, and zerk fittings installed.

I've got a really bad whiney wabble sound from rear passenger wheel just had bearing replaced. Sound still there.

Is Cobb in Dallas my only option for a tune?

I've had potranco automotive work on my car, can't really find a subaru specific shop. Any help for a good shop to work on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Their are no Subaru specialty shops locally in San Antonio, other than a dealership. Chances are that the sound and wabbley wheel is a wheel bearing.
I'm sure one of us can get under the car and try and take a look at it to give you a better idea, but from just keyboard diagnosing it, I would say its a wheel bearing.

Their are numerous tuning options, but the quality you get will vary greatly depending on what you choose.

JMS Tuning - San Antonio
MZM - Austin
Cobb Tuning - Dallas
AWD Tuning - Dallas

Thats just what I can think of off the top of my head, and doesn't include the numerous internet options out there. Do you have an access port already? Do you just have no tune at all?

Thanks for the help.. I'll list mods below. I just recently had the wheel bearing replaced maybe 2 months ago. The sound wasn't as loud, but was still there.
Mods :
Cobb AP stage 2 93 octane ots
Stock airbox, Cobb short ram and airbox next week.
Titek catless dp.
Apexi GT-Spec exhaust

I've been in San Antonio for almost 3 years and don't really know anyone. Just didn't the subaru wave when I see one.
Thanks again

What's up people. Was wondering if anybody had a bumper beam for a 02-03 bugeye. Thanks. I know I should probably post on the wtb thread but this is more area specific for me.
