Highway 16 is a nice drive. Take a left on park road 37 for a really good time.

"a" says that under my current set up i can't run e85. shop "b" says that theres a problem with the pump because it's not keeping up with a/r ratio when he's trying to tune it to e85. any input?

Sounds like you can't run e85 on that set up.

Maybe upgrade the pump or get bigger injectors.

I don't know enough about e85 to offer much more advice. But if two separate places tell you the same thing. They may be on to something.

It depends on the mods you have and what you are looking for more than anyhting else.

- you are going to need more than 1000cc injectors to support most of your e85 needs.
- that 255 will also run out at about 450whp

If you are able to make it up to those numbers the DW400 pump and some 1200cc+ will work quite well. Keep in mind that e85 is basically ethanol racing fuel closer to 109oct regular petrol and you need a lot of it because of the burn dynamics approx 35%> or more.

One last thing if you are trying to have decent gas mileage forget the e85!

Hey everyone...just looking for a resource of other subie owners in the area. I just signed the paperwork on a 2013 STI Limited today and will be picking up on Saturday.

What's the general STI scene here like?

Very nice.

If you are looking to see some nice cars this weekend after picking up your STI, go to coffee and cars meet this weekend. It is at Panera Bread located at 1604 and Blanco. It starts at 7:30am-10am.

We usually have meets every thursday night at varying locations around town. On the weekends or weekdays, some of us may get together to work on cars, hangout, shoot, or be bums.

Join our facebook group and you will get event invites to the local meets that we have and get to know the local subaru owners as well.

We have dinner at said meets. Not every meet has to be about every single detail about what makes our ride unique. We enjoy each other's company and Subaru is what brings us together as a "family".

There is a time for hardcore car meets and a time to relax and hangout.

Well from my understanding and what I was told by one of you guys thats at these diners every thursday: "Weve all seen each others cars already so we dont have these meets to sit around and look at each others cars because we dont need to anymore."
This is why ive never attempted to go to one of the "Diner Meets". Id like to check out some your cars but wont ever get a chance to. I even hosted a meet awhile back in hopes that id get to meet some of "the Family" and check out your cars.(No Luck) The thing is I dont think even one of the Regular Diner Thursday guys even showed up to the meet. There was like 13 cars too.. not a bad show for locals.
Whens the last time you guys put a meet together and invited the locals as well? Just curious?

I've never been to a meet. Between work and school I'm busy every Thursday.

Dinner not Diner, complete difference.
A reason that you haven't checked out our cars is maybe due to the lacking of asking to see them. You do have the ability to ask and I would be happy to oblige.

The reason why most of us regulars don't go to some meets is either they have a family, a job, a life, personal problems, or just don't want to be apart of that scene(i.e. they feel old as dirt).

As for other cars, we have friends that have their rides that aren't Subaru that still come out to the meet because they are friends. Locals don't really know us unless they either autocross, track with those that do the events, or find us on the forum. Majority of us don't go actively searching for others to join us.
