nice man. i have a few friends with e36 m3's. whats the color thats not cosmos but is still black? like almost a purpleish? its a 97 with a few things done. i love bimmers, but subies to rule

The only M-black is cosmos (black with a heavy metal flake), there are two purples available, daytona violet and techno violet, although daytona violet was only available on 1995's.

no way, E36 is sexiest. then E46, then E30.

i prefer your car wingless but sick nonetheless. i m gonna obtain a E36 M3 one day, must be sedan too for rarity purposes.

I was referring to E36 M3 colors (despite my overly broad statement about cosmos being the only M-black), as he was asking about a 1997 M3 (E36) - if all generations are being considered there is also Diamond Black from the E30 M3.

Nice ride. I have a friend that had a m3. Sent it to Miami to be turbo charged. Very nice car, although he sold it for a supra!!

The badge on the grill ruins the entire front end IMO. Tacky as hell, just throws the whole thing off. Ditch it and it will be nice and clean.

This guy I know got a E30 M3 with a E34 M5 motor swap with a group A close ratio tranny

I don't like Bimmer much, but I admit that car is pretty damn cool.

Now this same guy want to build a E46 M3 with a E39 M5 V8 swap, I can't wait to see that happen
