Question Calling all wagons -whos running 18's

Who out there is runing 18's on thier wagon.

1. What rim?
2. What offset?
3. What tire size/brand
4. Lowered ? How much?
5. Rubbing issues? If so fender or strut?

I banged up the right side of my car on a curb and need to replace two rims. I am cuurrently running 17" P1s with S03. My cars set up is the STi V7 struts and springs with Sti pink lateral links and trailing arms. I would like to step up to some 18's and have searched but can't seem to find the answer. I found threads on tire size but not offset and visa versa. I am considering the OZ superleggra and P1, SSR comp and GT7 and Nakayama Schumaker R-10 but don't know much about the last one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Damian

anything with 50+ offset shouldnt rub with 225 tires. i know a wagon owner with 57pro's (48offset) with 225-40-18 KDW's and he doesnt rub. but there seems to be a bit of luck involved with fitting 225 tires with 48 offset wheels. some people rub some dont, it depends on the tire manuf.

here's mine.

18" Rota Subzeros with whiteline downlow springs.
No rubbing whatsoever with 225/40/18" Kumho tires, but I did take off the rubber trim on the rear fender.

i have 18 superllegras with 225s on them and the MRT sport springs. they only drop about an inch and so far very minimal rubbing. every once and a while the rubber rand around the fender touches the tire and simply takes some of the dirt off. No damage to the tire or the rubber around the fender so far and that is after i had my car loaded down with 600+ lbs of camping gear and kayaks and drove from maryland to north carolina and then from NC to canada and then back to maryland.

take off the rubber lining on the rear and see if it rubs.

i bet it wouldnt rub but i would rather have the rubber lining hit the tire than the metal fender lip just in case.

I have a set of 18x8 Motegi MR107s with +42ET with 225/40/18s on my 02 wagon. There's some rubbing if I have a passenger in the rear seat and I go over a big bump, but not enough for me to worry about.
