I have the 8374 tuned up to 25 psi. It's feeling very strong but starting to run out of fuel from the walbro 400 and FIC 2150's. I think I'll reach 27 to 28 psi maybe. Gonna get a big fuel lab pump and surge setup soon as I can but this trip to the drag strip will be on whatever it can make for now.

I'll be on federal street tires and I'll need to hit 5th but I'd like to see mid 10s with an appropriate trap speed for my weight. I went 11.5 @ 119 on the Dom 3.5 at 24 psi through the GS TMIC.

What did the Dom 3.5 Dyno and what does your new one dyno?

If you rev it out you can probably do 4th. The turbo should be able to do it.

512 / 460 at 24 psi on the TMIC. Didn't dyno at full boost with the FMIC. Virtual dyno suggested 570 / 490 @ 30 psi tapering to 26.

I'm tuning some other cars on the dyno tomorrow including an 8374 LGT and a 7670 stroked EJ20 w/ jdm heads WRX. Might throw mine on and see where it's at but my setup is basically like the LGT so it's numbers should tell me a lot about what this turbo makes at xx boost. This turbo doesn't fall off at all out to 8000 with the 1.05 TS housing and EWG setup. 8000 in 4th gear seems to get me just a bit over 130 I think.

512whp trapped 119mph so 570whp should do at least super 120's. Should be good for 10's.

Are you tapering boost on purpose? My baby size turbo holds 30psi flat to 8k. It actually rises about 1psi as it goes up.

PS. Title is fixed!

That boost was on the built motor with Dom 3.5. It had too much back pressure up top with the IWG. EWG probably would have helped but I didn't want to try that on that turbo and the 8374 came up for sale for the right price. The 8374 has shown no signs of tapering and doesn't need wastegate duty ramped to hold flat boost to 8k.

Oh I get it. It was 512 Dyno and 570 Virtual. I thought 570 was the new setup. What does that do on Virtual Dyno? Mine will barely do 500 on Virtual Dyno

24 psi on the 8374 shows 580 so about the same and it feels like it's at about the same power at peak torque but it holds flatter to redline.

What are you going to run it at at the track?

I'm gonna keep going on boost until I'm out of fuel and run at that. Judging by where I'm at now I'm thinking 27 to 28 psi. I need to move my pressure sensor for oil to the fpr or get a second one on a switch so I can see what fuel pressure is doing. I need to see how much it's dropping. I'll run boost by gear and turn down 1st and 2nd to get traction if needed.
