Try losing the IMPREZA and the keylock. Now that would look cool. Weather out here has been crappy and cold. When it breaks, I'll post a pic of my black one. Maybe in a couple of days. Looks very clean. TBA

Actually debadging is not the question. I'd like to know why Subaru NA put badges on the car...the JDM cars come butt naked. So, Greg, If your car had come from the factory like that pictured below, would you stick S-U-B-A-R-U on it?

Do you have any pics of your wagon de-badged? I debadged the WRX off the back of my wagon and put it on the right side of my dashboard next to the heat vent. looks nice there plus keeps my car somewhat of a sleeper although it is Rally blue (well anyone that knew anything about WRXs would know my car was turbo)

Debadged the STi because I'm not big on pink. Took all other badges off because I think its cleaner, easier to wax too.

Wish i could say its a sleeper, but gold wheels and big wing don't help. Those in the know, know what it is, all others ignore it.

The parking cop gave my "BBS" a ticket, only logo they could find was the wheel caps.

downside? one friend who doesn't know cars said it looks like I got in an accident, and they forgot to put the badges on after the repaint.

I went to the effort of cutting the front emblem out as well as debadging. The grille mod took a while as I had to use body filler. I peeled the stock emblems two days after getting the car

No one has asked me what kind of car it is yet

You can use a heat gun, hair dryer, or pick a hot day.

Any excess sticky stuff I had, I used 3m tar and adhesive remover and a old credit card to remove it.

I used WD40 to get the rest of the adhesive off. Worked pretty good.

The best way to debagde, is to do it in the summer on a very hot day after your car has been parked in the sun a long time. Plus Goo Gone and fishing line, then a lil touch up with a random orbital buffer. Then you got your self a sexy ass on your subie.
