Speaking of Davie504, sick response video to a response in a video.

The number of wasps coming out of this thing is pure nightmare fuel:

And the shape and design look alien:

CN: **** wasps. Killing ground nests at night with a couple of gallons of permethrin-laced water has been one of my greatest joys.

I think our participation in this thread has led to YT's algorithm suggesting the same videos. Otherwise we click the same **** because I saw this sometime last week.

Bizarre question: Have you been suggested videos of some hick in the midwest hunting rats with his dogs and trained minks recently?

That question cannot be un-typed.

About a year ago I saw a video of a family in the UK I think that was using pitch forks to turn over the field behind their house and had a bunch of terriers shredding them as they came out of the dirt. They go ballistic.

That led me to another channel of a guy using probably a mini. Not the same from your video though.

Edit- found it.

Yeah that video led me to the mink one I mentioned and it is the same channel but even I clicked on your link, those first thumbnails looked like it was someone else.

About a year ago yellowjackets found a gap outside our bedroom window sill

They got in there and made a nest in our walls

By the time we realized they were in there they'd eaten away at the drywall to the point where there was just a paper-thin layer of it separating them from invading our bedroom... I noticed a tiny crack in the wall and when pushed on it to investigate I saw a goddam thousand of the mother****ers right there...

I managed to gently stick some duct tape over the crack and then gorilla taped a plastic sheet over the area where the nest was... my heart was racing like mad the whole time

Got an exterminator to come in and remove the colony:

We have a bees nest in the outside wall of the garage. Since it's not bothering us at the moment the wife is trying to find a local beekeeper to take the nest. Hate to wipe out a whole nest when honey bees are already getting their assess kicked. Looks like siding can come off and the nest is right there but I'm not about to go verify that.

That would be pretty cool.

If it turns out to be wasps, though, I'll gladly pay for the gasoline to burn your house right to the ****ing ground.

Your so thoughtful and generous!

It's honeybees. I had the same first thought and double checked to be sure. I exercised some restraint after one stung my pup Stewart on the nose, I really wanted to plug it with some exterior caulk and see what happened.

Yeah the ones in my wall were definitely not cute little honey bees, they were aggressive evil little yellow jackets.

It bothers me when people refer to wasps as bees*, and I'll always correct them. I feel like ignorance of the difference is part of the reason why honey bees have gotten so ****ed.

*Especially around Dean, who was stung by a wasp a few months ago and started getting freaked out around bees too as a result. I'll point out the differences every chance I get, and I think he's starting to get it. For example: [eating lunch outside] "Dean, see how this bug is all over our **** FOR NO REASON? That's a wasp. See how that other bug over there is just peacefully flying from flower to flower, and wants nothing to do with us at all? That's a bee."

I do the same with my son but after we were each stung 5-6 times due to disturbing/stepping on a wasps nest last fall, it doesn't matter.
