I realize the color will be vastly improved, but I also want to be sure that there is at least some level of increased output. So far, unless I missed it, nobody has said they're actually brighter than the stock highbeams. "Great output" isn't the same as "increased output" in my book. If you have a camera that is capable of manual settings, you can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. Most smartphones have apps that can do this, if not available stock, can be downloaded from iTunes/Android Market. |

I went ahead and bought these for my car also.
The appear to be alot brighter than stock high beams One note during installation, they were a little hard to twist into lock position so I used a little dielectric grease on the rubber o ring and they went in easy |

How about some output shots comparing the halogen vs. the new LED?

bringing this back from the dead because I'm interested.
I want to know if some people think they are too bright for DRL's and blinding people? |

^^^^ I bought the 45S version and they are really bright, like really bright. Great high beams though. I got my halo for my running lights anyway.

Here is the lighting. It's really bright, even with a painted reflector bowl (reflective metallic yellow). Just look at the top portion.
The 45s version can be adjusted any way you want so mine do sit up and down and not side to side. Last edited by Trustkevin13; 10-09-2015 at 12:13 AM. |

Is the picture above taken with DRL on or did you turn on high beam?
I would get these if it helps with visibility during the night with low beam since I don't ever have a need to use high beams in my area. |

my question would be if your headlights have been baked (painted) if it make a little bit of difference over oem bulbs. My high beam reflectors are painted yellow with oem bulbs and they're almost useless.
