Toyota is going to ride the 5AT workhorse into the grave and then a couple more years for good measure.

I really couldn't care less about the Bronco, but I like the current Ranger. Given that I might be in the market for a pickup in a few years, I could easily see myself buying that, especially with that interior.

The Bronco concepts looks great!
I really miss my last Bronco--Custom trim level with poverty vinyl/rubber interior seat/floors, crank windows, 5spd man, 5.0, Kayline soft top. Doubt we'll see that kind of trim level in a new one, unfortunately... . |

I'll replace my XTerra immediately if they make a hard edged Bronco like that concept.

I wish Australians would use something besides the '$' symbol for dollars. It confuses us over here in the land of baseball and apple pie.

All I see is wrangler unlimited... I think I would prefer the Everest over that lower one. The 4 doors are killing it for me.

Ford released a teaser image of the bronco today. The outline looks pretty cool, I just hope they don't mess it up

that looks a lot like a Wrangler profile. They wouldn't. Would they?

I figured we'd get an Everest, looks like I was wrong on that one! Looking at that outline, they appear to be going way back to their roots.
Now I just hope all of those "I'd buy it if" folks follow through to make it worth their while for taking a big risk like this. |

The hood is way longer in the covered pic than the artist renderings. Edit: I *think* I see a B pillar. Hmm... very short doors if that's the case... --kC Last edited by KC; 03-16-2018 at 08:44 AM. |

It looks about the size of a Wrangler Unlimited. Those don't tow much or well.

Well if you think about it, the Explorer is already filling the role the old Bronco left. I mean aside form the removable this or that. PLUS they cannot keep wranglers on the lot and they sell with almost no markdown.
You can expect Ford to follow the money and make this very jeep like. Only without a crappy jeep interior. If this is priced right, they will a sell a crap load of them. |

Short front and rear overhang. Mmm talk dirty to me, Bronco.
