hi I have a 2003 Subaru and I recently installed a aftermarket radio and it did not come with a illumination wire so the factory violet and orange white positive and negative wires for illumination were left capped off but now I have now dash lights working at all and I checked all fuses and tail and headlights and all were working I’m confused as what to do with them? Please help me !!!!

I had a similar problemwhen I installed my HU.. All my interior lights and head unit stopped working. I checked every fuse and it turns out it was one labeled i think "back up" or something like that. I didnt expect that at all to cause it.

Pioneer HU + factory amp
I got 97 Acura CL with BOSE audio. I’ve upgraded my HU to pioneer DEH-S4120BT which 50W x 4. My question is, if I wanted to upgrade my front door speakers and tweeters in the dash do I still need to buy separate amp or does the factory one amplifies signal that is already amplified by the HU?

Hi All,
I am looking to upgrade the speakers and fit a sub, I have looked at the kit SOA made in conjunction with Kicker. The problem I have is the front speaker when I tried to order the kit from Subaru online parts.com it was telling me they were not compatible ? does anyone know if this correct

Current system- stock no HK or Sat Nav
Music Choice- classic rock, country, brit pop
Music Style- medium to load
Installer- me
Installer experience- A lot fitted systems in many cars
Budget- $800
Future Goals- this will be it, I have no intentions of upgrading later.
Reference- System has to fit in original positions, with no wire cutting ( car is a lease )
