Default replica sti fog light covers for the my02 wrx

I have not been able to find any detailed pictures of the replica sti fog light covers. i have found several cars cars with them installed, but nothing with close-up pictures of the covers. i found a couple pictures on vendor sites but nothing showing the overall quality and actually i think the picture was the same exact picture they use for the real authentic covers. I would love to see some detailed pictures before and after installation, if possible.

thanks guys!

Default screen install

i just got my replica fog light covers in the mail. they look very high quality and well built. i placed them on just to see how they look prior to getting them painted to match. they do not seem to line up perfectly.

there are two tabs on the top and what looks like a third tab on the inside (towards the center of the car), but it does not look like you could get all three in at the same time??

does anyone who has installed them have any tips to make them fit. any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks!

Hey Doctornick, is there a noticable difference in the light output? I know there has to be some decrease, but is it enough to notice? The fogs still look pretty bright with the covers, so I may have to get some.

The fogs get a little dimmer with the covers on....yet at the same time they WILL save your but. I have many huge rocks hit them and just bend the cover and not break the lights...

I just got a set last week from Revolution Motorsports.
They fit perfect, all three tabs went right in with no problem. You almost don't need the bracket. I will put my brakets on this weekdend, I had to go get black screws because I did not want silver ones on my black car.

I think they look far better than staring at that gray plastic around the fog lights but my question is, would it be worth it to cough up the extra cash and buy the real STi covers instead of the replicas?
