APS CAI works great as I have it on mine!!! However if you are wanting EcuTek, then you'll have to wait for Dyno-Comp to finish making up the fuel maps. I assume you'll be using them to do your tuning???

Join the club that the rest of us with 04's have been waiting for!!! I contact Richard daily as to when the maps will be complete. I hope to be one the first few they do there at Dyno-Comp.

Is your motor even broken in yet on your 05?

You might want to consider getting a short ram if you are going to get an intake.........i had a CAI on my 02 WRX and lost power, but maybe the STi would be different. Just an idea?

I hit the 1200 mile broken in period in a week I like to drive. Rich at dyno comp assures me the cold air is the way to go. He said the short ram isint as good for the STI

Hey buddy, dont go pissin around and bad mouthing the guys at Dyno Comp. They are more a tuner shop than a parts warehouse to buy from. You pay for their knowledge on your car. I seriously hope I see you at the track or out on the road, you Joker!!!

Yeah they are expensive, but they're the only dyno house close to my tuner and I.

what exhuast did you get?

They charged my brother 310 for the HKS BOV becasue I wasn't with him at the time, but the day before he told me a lower price. ??

Ive been asking around about Rich and dyno comp....seems things are a little shady over there what Ive heard is only rumor and heresay but still if you want repeat buisness you dont dik your customers. Ill be buying my parts or at least researching prices before I go in therer from now on. As far as I can tell 250 for the CAI by APS is reasonable, but he wants 800 dollars for the ECU reflash? thoughts.....I dont thin that includes dyno time.

Hey FASt CO STi, better yet is there is a race here at Speedworld on July 10th. Race for the Sun, midnight to 6am. You can run my 04 STi now that I'm reflashed by EcuTek and then you can TRY against my wifes 95' GT. You'll be able to find my wife and I real easy at the event. Just look for the crowd around her mustang!!!

Speedworld is in the NW valley of Phx. Its on Grand Ave and Jomax Rd. My wife is one crazy mustang owner you will never spank, I think we'd be the ones laughing more at you.

FAST CO STi, yeah, you might have over paid for your exhaust, but consider it a learning experience. Research the price on the parts you want. If Rich can't beat it, buy it on line. His tuning is second to none, and they are the only tuner in the Valley with a 4 wheel dyno to tune your car. The techs are second to none as well, and will bend over backwards to help you out. Joe delivered my neighbors EVO after it was there all day, and had another tech take him home after they dropped it off. Now that's what I call service. When it comes time for your EcuTek, definitely take it there so it can be tuned properly.

AZ2004STi, I haven't had anything done yet. The turbo came yesterday (APS SR50), and the fuel pump (walbro 255) came today. I opened my mouth too soon about the install. I just ordered my injectors today, and that will take about a month or so. So now, I am in the process of researching fuel rails. I would love to get it installed now, but to have the ECU reflashed for every upgrade at $150 a pop....I will wait till I have everything.

Smart choice! I'm torn between the SR40 and the PE1820. If only Garrets were bolt ons I'd be soooo hooked up. Good luck with your install and hope you dont have any hang ups.

AZ2004STi, by the way, what were your dyno #'s with the reflash? What are your current mods other than the reflash? Was it a night and day difference?
