You've obviously checked for any leaks at the wheel cylinders and calipers I'm guessing. So, providing that is correct, I suspect the master cylinder is in need of a servicing. To the best of my knowledge, the master cylinders for these 1st Gen EA71 engines are no longer available, but the rebuild kits are still out there. I've learned with my 1984 GL, there is part overlap with some of the 1970's and later Datsun/Nissan Z-cars, and a few of the 510's... particularly with brake wheel cylinders, master cylinders, and rear differentials. I scored my EGR delete kit from a Z-car specialist web site... if you already knew this, I apologize, but hopefully it helps. Good luck.
