I want to have my car tuned, as I just purchased a large number of bolt-ons. Can you do a custom tune for $300 to maxinize these bolt-ons or do I need to have AP, UTEC, or something else? From what I got from the post, I pay $300 and walk out with more HP, lol...

I'm new to tuning, so I'm clueless. I'm also in Iraq, haha, so any specials in the works for October? PM me if possible, I'm looking for a shop to do a tune.

Correct, we tune the stock ECU; you do not have to have any other aftermarket system. Thanks!

What all is available to be tuned? Basically, will my cluster light up like a Christmas tree due to not having cats. I think the accessPORT kills the the rear o2 right?

Also, so you have any GM solenoids? Price installed. Rather get it now than later.

I do change all of the parameters and that includes the obd2 error codes - ie. the cat inefficiency and others. GM Solenoid is $85 installed, parts and labor.

Does this offer include other EMs? UTEC, etc? Is it dyno tune only, or is there a follow-up road tune for drivability & on-road adjustments? How long has your tuner been tuning, and what kind of Subaru tuning experience?

They are a Cobb ProTuner. Mike tuned my STi about a month ago with OpenSource. Solid tune and install prices are more than reasonable. +1 for AMS

Yes - and no. Yes, because ECUTEK is basically replaced with the open source platform now and I can definetly tune your stock ECU (that's already flashed with Ecutek) to spec for your modifications, including turbo upgrades, high boost and big injectors; ie modify an Ecutek flash, tailor it to your car / requirements. "No" because we are not an ECUTEK dealer; it's an obsolete product on the Evo 8/9 market.

Sorry, we do not tune UTEC's - our neighbors and friends at TurboXS will be more than happy to tune their product.

Would not be offering services without being qualified nor knowing my way aroung a Subaru. We stand behind all of our work, including tuning. We do lots of Evo tuning, but have done a good bit of Sti / Wrx work as well.

You didn't answer my initial question.

How many years do you have with tuning experience?

Do you have any graphs and maps showing your AF ratio on previously tuned STI's?

Ok so what does "stand behind all of your work" mean? If my motor blows on your dyno you replace it? If the driveability is not up to par, if it breaks up under full load do I get a free retune?

I come from the V8 world and things are handled a little bit differently so I am just wondering. Please do not take this as an attack.

Why would your motor blow up on the dyno? I don't tune cars for bad driveability or "breaking up" issues, that's not what I am paid to do - I am confident in telling customers to go drive their cars to the full potential. As for experience, as a certified efi pro tuner, I have been tuning professionally for Atlantic for a bit more than a year.

I was just wondering what all you do tune. Is there any drivability tuning done, or just dyno time?

Sorry, are you asking about the systems I tune or the actual tables? As far as driveability goes - it's more important than the final power pull numbers, so yes, if there is a question regarding regular mid-load driving - I usually spend time loading the dyno and simulating conditions to correct any possible issues.

That was my question - do your tunes typically include some road-tune (or simulated road-tune) time to reflect lower-load cells, different RPMs, and basically anything but WOT Balls-out driving.

I test drive, log and re-adjust most cars that come off the dyno.
