For a great Cheap wax Use Meguires NXT.. IMO best of off the shelf wax

Many have their own personal preferences, but a general winner in the wax market is Meguiars. I use it and can't complain.

Excuse the fact that it's a domestic POS and the low quality pics, but here's my Sunfire immediately following a Meguiars Deep Paint Cleaner/Polish/Wax.

I can second the klasse. I use both the polish and wax. I just started using it, and its great. Its kind of pricey, however, when applied properly a little goes a long way.

My thought exactly....

It's really easy to use, end product is great, but you'll find yourself using it more often than other waxes.

I use a ton of different products, always changing things around, but for Carnuba I stick with P21S. Pricey at about $30 for a tub, but nothing I have found so far gives me the same look on my WRB paint. Easy to apply and barely any dust as well which is always a plus!

I second this. I just detailed my car on Saturday and did the following:

- Wash with Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds concentrated car wash
- Claybar the whole car using Clay Magic
- Wash again
- Used a PC along with some Sonus SFX-2 Enhanced Swirl Remover to remove those fine swirl marks
-Klasse All In One
-Klasse High Gloss (don't attempt to use this if you don't have a decent buffer. I used this once by hand and it took me 3 hours to remove!)
-P21S Wax.

I do professional detailing on the side and the Klasse AIO along with P21S wax is just amazing. Look into it if you want to keep that paint looking like new. My car has over 40k miles so it's definitely seen some wear and tear.

Here are the results:

[quote=BiG 10]-Klasse High Gloss (don't attempt to use this if you don't have a decent buffer. I used this once by hand and it took me 3 hours to remove!)

Then you did it wrong, most likely put it on too thick.

maybe you put it on too thin....

NXT was super easy to put on. Had good results too.

Probably... but I never touched the stuff until I had a buffer. Even application, easy removal.

It's on autopia.org and properautocare.com that for the Klasse Sealant Glaze you really need to put a very thin layer on. I put about a quarter size amount on the pad and I can do about half of the car with that. You're not supposed to see it film when applying it otherwise it's too thick of a coat. The only times I've had problems removing it was when I applied it to thick but a quick spray of quick detailer on the towel gets it right off.

meguiar's nxt tech wax is considered a sealant similar to their professional line #21 synthetic sealant. it takes 12 - 24 hours for nxt to cure properly. nxt looks good, but doesn't last as long as a other last step process wax.

topping it with a pure wax such as #26 or even p21s will give you more durablility.

thanks!

I have found the Turtle Wax Ice stuff to have a nice shine, but I question the durability as it seemed to die after one wash. It does seem to last okay with a daily semi-daily quick detail and the ease of application can't be beat. Worth the $15 just to have around IMO, but I am moving on shortly when I work up the motivation and have a weekend to do a proper detail.

I'm really loving my Zaino. The initial process of getting a couple coats on the car is a little time consuming, but once you get it on there and keep up with the sealing it has a shine and depth like no other. It makes my Aspen White WRX reflect like a mirror!
