I think it looks pretty good. Maybe fill in the space from the clock and angle them slightly more towards the driver.
But I don't know much about gauges with my little NA slobaru haha

It looks clean to me, but I'd really like to see it lit up at night or with the gauges installed with your regular gauge cluster in the same shot. Pretty ingenious with the raised center gauge like the standard cluster.

To quote on iPhone, touch the grey area to the right of the username and a couple of blue buttons (one says "quote") will pop up. I'm assuming you're using the NASIOC app.

On the next one I make, I plan on incorporating the stock clock back into the design under the center pod... I don't actually have any gauges other than a cheap autozone subpro boost gauge I used for fitting. Here's an shot of it in the car...

It's a crappy shot I apologize... The phone is the only camera I got

And thanks for the quote tutorial lol

I see you are into black ice Little Trees! I highly recommend the Leather scent. I used to use black ice, but got sick of it. Leather smells more unique, and not at all like leather haha.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just upgrade the keyless system and use a 09 Forester key fob?

I might upgrade in the future... For now I just really wanted to see how I turned out if I did it myself, like most of my projects

I'm located in Newport News VA for now. I'll have to look into the newer models, I can't imagine they're much different. But yes I would like to sell a few for some extra beer money haha but I have to perfect my design I'm very meticulous about my work.

It most likely won't work. Look at your dash, and focus on the center, is there a way to remove the clock assembly and make enough room for a gauge pod? No, you'll have to chop up your dash to get a similar setup to us with '07 and prior. Here's a pic of your dash setup:
http://0.tqn.com/d/cars/1/0/D/8/1/jf_08wrx_Dash.jpg
And here is the 02-07 layout:

Hopefully this helps in the research.

Yeah, it's a solid dash piece, which I found irritating when I had considered gauge mounting options in my '11 before I got rid of it for a better car.

'06 STi. Much hardier feeling car, even with almost 3 times the mileage (sitting at ~74k now).

Yea the larger one is a daiwa and the smaller is a cheap-o Shakespeare reel on a pinnacle rod... And thanks! I actually got the idea from a jeep forum. It's so nice having a machine shop to make ideas come to life haha
