Like I said pay to play. I'm sure the people that are running fmic are aware that their front end is very likely to get f'ed if they crash. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I guess you run the same risk taking your car to the track. Idk though its not like car accidents are such a rare occurance

Honestly I'm more scared about people hitting me and backing into my car then me smashing it. I don't really push the car to 10/10 like ever. I learned on my old car it's too expensive to learn the limits of a car on the street lol.

That's my point, sometimes people just run into you. My bro was minding his own business when a ram's steering broke and it came into the oncoming lane and totaled his sc300. He also got hit and run by a guy who ran a stop sign while just driving straight down an empty road

I've been lucky but **** happens...wouldn't want to owe the bank up to 38k because I wanted a dope fmic

I'm not a fool and think it'll save the car or myself but i think it's beefy enough to take a small impact.
I realize how subjective of a question this is... but what's the "best" FMIC out there?

meaning for the size of the intercooler, the support beam, price, keeps fogs and overall performance... I know none of them have it all, but which one is generally the overall best purchase?

I would say the FMS fmic is... It's a copy of the turbo xs system but half the price and I haven't really heard any negative reviews about it...

Edit: can't remember if it replacea the support beam...

Honestly they all have some adjusting to do. None of them do everything you are asking 100% without modification. Personally I feel the FMS set up is the most cost effective and a great value if you don't mind doing minor fixing like drilling the correct holes to line up where the OEM crash beam mounts. Have seen first hand how their beams don't line up at all. Minor issues.

Roof at work was empty, so I snagged a quick pic with my iPhone after getting the car washed.

When I first picked up my new Soob in fall 2013

Bought a set of ASA wheels for $200 on craigslist and rattle canned them.

With roof rack and ski rack.
