Default help

i went to start my sti for the first time this morning, and i did not let it crank quite long enough to start before letting the key return to run. well i tried again and it would not start even with extended cranking. so i cycled the key off for a couple of seconds, then tried again. once i started cranking the CEL started blinking, and i can hear a relay clicking over by the ecu. the car will not start!

i have checked all fuses, and tried to read any cel codes with my code puller. the code puller can't read the ecu, it gives me an error message.

anyone had this problem. i have done much searching with no answers.

Thanks for any help!

sounds like you flooded it.

Hold the gas pedel to the floor and crank it over for about 10 seconds, do this 2 or 3 times each time not cranking it for more than 10 seconds, and wait like 10 seconds between cranks.

If it is flooded this should clear out any fuel in the combustion chamber.

Then try and start the car without touching the gas.

If that doesnt work, time to tow it to the dealer, thats what the warranty is for.
