At the Track Ithaca/Binghamton area auto-x (2nd attempt)

Hey guys! Didn't get any responses to my last post, but I'll try again.

There's another auto-x this weekend. This one is a Southern NY region event. It's being held at Tioga Motorsports Park (Exit 65 off of Rt 17). For directions, click on the following link, scroll down to the Navigation section, and click on the "Directions" link: Tioga Motorsports Park

Registration doesn't begin until 10:30AM (and tech inspection begins at 11:00AM), so you guys can sleep in a bit. Hope to see some of you guys there!!

-Chris

All you need to bring to an auto-x is your car, your driver's license, and $25. When you get there (or on the way there), you'll have to up the pressure in your tires by about 10psi. In case you don't know, auto-x is classified as a low speed agility-based driving competition . Max speed is probably 40 - 50mph. Cars go one at a time in a race against the clock. Lots of slolams and hairpin turns. That's it!! Let me know if you have any other questions!!

If you have a helmet, bring it (needs to be from 1995 or newer I believe). If you don't, they offer loaner helmets there, free of charge. The only downfall of not bringing your own helmet is that you have to share with other people. No big deal.
