I've been thinking about painting my HellaHorns lime green.

What do you guys think.. Would that be to much green?

Think I'm just going to suck it up and wrap the front lip in CF vinyl like I did the side skirts and rear spats.

Why do people feel the need to paint every single piece of trim.

Just got a Suntek front bumper clear bra installed. They also detailed my car for free since there was a miss communication between when I was supposed to be there and when they were gonna do it.

Looking good!
After having my ClearBra for almost a year I can safely say it's been a great investment.

I got the Suntek clear bra installed about 8 months ago on my 15' ISM. Love it! Great product. I got mine done for $475. I had it done by my local Subaru dealership. They have a company come and do there clear bra's. The company didn't show the day they were suppose too. So I got full front bumper, 3/4 hood and 3/4 fenders, mirrors. And since they messed up scheduling they did the rocker panels for free and took $100 off the price. That's why the $475 price.

I actually like the green trim. Been thinking of getting out of Evo X and going back to the Subaru side. Still on the fence as the new body style hasn't grown on me and there's so many other cars coming to the fight like the Focus RS.

Got my clear bra for $350 for front bumper and headlights with Suntek film. Installer has a lifetime guarantee for bubbles and peeling along with ppf or window tint. The ppf guarantee is limited to an occasional bubble or corner peeling after warranty is up. I assume they just pop the bubble and trim the lifted piece.

Impreza WRX STi First Subi! New to the STi family.

Hey guys,
I got a deal on an STi I couldn't pass up, and now I'm proud to say I'm part of the Subi family. I COULD NOT be happier.... this car is the most fun I've had since my S2000. I have to say though with this being my first turbo car and my first AWD car it is super weird. My mind knows its faster than my other cars but my butt is telling me it is slow.... I guess this is the AWD? I traded a G37s for this, so I've come from a snappy NA v6 to this turbo flat 4. I can tell you though that the Subaru Boxer 4 has THE BEST SOUND EVER!!!! I got this car from an awesome guy named Zach who is in the military and did all the mods. He is unfortunately being transferred and has to give this baby up. I am just glad I can call it mine and am thankful for all the hard work he put into it. I'm excited to pick up where he left off... of course after I learn the car... and to make it a street monster (as if it isn't already). How fast the car is is hard to judge... I'm used to RWD and this thing just MOVES, no sliding or breaking loose of the tires to gauge the power. Anyone have any advice for a new subi/turbo owner?

Thanks for having me and I can't wait to meet you guys and be a part of your community!

Here's what I know it has so far:

Full Nameless turbo-back exhaust with no mufflers and no visible cat (LOUD)
Injen Intake
COBB bov
1300cc injectors
Upgraded fuel pump/ stainless lines
Cobb Accessport V3 running stage 3 McCormick 93 octane tune
Perrin Plates and accessories
SPT Accessories
COBB weighted shift knob
Perrin reverse lockout
STI Short Shifter
All engine/tranny mounts replaced with poly

All surfaces covered in Ceramic Pro Gold package
tires done in Black Pearl Gloss Semi-Permanent Tire Shine

rear sway bar, some springs or coilovers.. that will wake up the rear end a bit.
whether you end up with front camber plates or not, you can have someone adjust the oem alignment to around -1.8 in the front. that will sharpen it up, as most of these cars show up to the dealers with no camber, or even positive to make them have a bit more push to induce a "safer" car for the average customer.

nice whip. not sure of that permanent tire shine...

yeh the gloss black pearl was too much.... my last car had the Matte finish on it. I'll be recoating them when I have the time. It is very difficult to scrub off. The Matte finish is very suitable to this style of car. I'll repost pics when that's done. Thanks for the comments though! I'm going to look into what you are recommending with the mods.
