Hit a personal milestone
The car is a completely stock 2006 WRX TR. Stock clutch! I am now satisfied with how my car has performed for me. I would assume 200k+ is easily achievable. As it is now, the car burns zero oil between 9k mile oil changes. I am considering finally going stage 2 in the near future, but I believe I will do a compression and leakdown test before I upgrade anything. I will make another thread in 50k when I bust through 200,000. Here is a link to 3 UOA's I have done on my car. 8,700 miles on my last interval with room to spare! http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2476460

The intervals have been increasing ever since I started doing UOAs. But, in general, I don't feel a need to push it as far as I can. I just want clean usable oil in there all the time. However, the less I can use the better for the environment.

I checked out your UOAs. There are discrepancies between things that I think should be identical I.E. expected values or tolerances for Rotella T6 (assuming that is the oil that you had analyzed. >Flashpoint values are different. Expected cSt viscosity values are different. Seems strange to me. I have a link to my UOAs on my first post here. With regards to your results, I think your TBN values look strong as hell, especially compared to mine. I was down to 2.6 @ 8700. You were what 5.x at 8000? Niiiice. |

My paint is just fine. Biggest ding on the a pillar. A little smaller than the diameter of a pencil. Some rock chipped it down to the bone.

I have a factory short throw. Cb radio. Alpine interiors. I'm coming into some extra dough and have started to fantasize about go fast mods. Most if the time im trying to get the most out of a tank of gas.

Nice!
I took a picture of my odometer as I rolled over 100,000 yesterday. Not quite as impressive as 150k, but I've also got a tad over 300whp, so I'm still pretty happy it's still running good. |
