![]() First Suby. Not WHP focused. Initially! Reliability and longevity, with a touch of mpg.
"05 FXT with 111k Seemingly well taken care of. Charlotte 700' - Elkin 1100' Up to 6000' on the BRP. (45 mph limit) Shell 91; damned ethanol, 10-15% I just want to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. Timing belt with everything changed. A turbine water pump. Does the debate over K&N versus paper hold water? Cobb V2-002 Up pipe/down pipe Any suggestions welcome. All look the same! With reasons, of course. Borla cat back. 3" and still moderately quiet. Proper tuning. Probably not dyno tuned at this time. Boxer4Racing, Marshall, NC Dale Teague tuner. Under serious consideration: Air oil separator Turbo timer Larger capacity oil pan Mobil !, old friend. 3500 oil changes; will take some getting used to. Anything superfluous? Anything overlooked? Thanks. |

![]() I have a 2008 WRX. I would like to hit 300WHP as safe and reliable as possible.
I currently have Cobb SF Intake and Downpipe running OTS Stage 2 map. Do you think I am even close for a 2008? What else should be done? Thanks! |

![]() You will need to upgrade to a vf52 at the least. 260-270 at the wheels is maxed for the td04. 300 is pretty easy with a vf52 and is a straight swap with a tune.

![]() Hey guys. So im running cobb stage 2 ots map w/ catless dp and invidia exhaust. Im going to take it in for a protune here in the near future but just want to get a better idea what you high hp guys are running. Im looking to get the most out of this protune so i dont have to keep getting it retuned, what do you guys think i should add on to get the most "bang" for my buck? Currently all i have in mind is the cobb intake, grimmspeed EBCS, NGK sparkplugs and possibly a fuel pump. Any other suggestions would be great. Aiming for hp to be in the 400's

![]() Hey guys and gals,
I thought I would share my build to help someone in need. I am running a 13 DGM STI with the following mods. AWHP: 417 on a half 91/100 octane tune at Church Automotive. Mods: Blouch TDO6 20GXT 8cm DW 850's (Did not do my research and went to small, go bigger if you have plans for bigger gains or E85 in the future) DW65 FP Perrin FMIC PERRIN CAI Catless invidia DP Invidia Dual N1 Don't go cheap on your tune and you will get some good power. I do monthly logs and knock on wood, I have had zero knock and going 6 months strong as a DD with stock internals. I hope this helps someone. |

![]() Gonna be looking for a ~300WHP. No AWD dynos around me (that i know of), so its gonna be a crap shoot to a degree. IF I did the math right, before a tune I'll be at like 276. Just hard numbers. Factory boost off my td04. I'll be increasing that with a boost controller, and adding an e tune from Eric at Torqued Power, What can I ball park? ~700' elevation. Dont want to getting into playing with turbo's too much, not enough knowledge on aftermarket ones, and not sure I can fork over that much money for a desired amount of power being so "low".

![]() Thinking about running NGK one step plugs, but have read on a few sites that they arent nesecary and can even be harmful if your motor isnt putting down enough power..? Any truth to this? I was planning on throwing those with a fuel pump and ebcs on my stage 2
