how's the helix and greddy sound? I'm looking at getting that same combo, but I don't want anything too over the top loud.

Keep the Genome. Possibly the best sounding exhaust, a close second would be the stromung/cobb exhaust.

Genome

The Genome is the best looking IMO, but a bit too raspy for my taste, I prefer the deeper tone of my Prodrive.

My sound clip of the greddy it for some reason sounds louder than stage2 after shooting flames out it for about two hours and the big turbo also makes it louder to my ears for some reason. Then again it might just have been how close and my mics quality that made it sound loud in the clip. Just wanted to add that cuase i think tuning roasted a bit of the muffler material.

Im not sure what bearing that has on how loud its supose to be in general with everyone elses. if i get headaches from the espelir i will still search to replace the greddy for a freeflow design without the heavy ear banging.

I wont have the espelir installed for a couple more weeks.

Megan. Poor mans exhaust. It’s pretty decent though, I have no complaints.

Shocker sticker has since been removed. I rocked that for about a week.

My set-up is currently Invidia v2 catless dp mated up to the helix catback. I personally thing it sounds awesome! Its on my 06 sti and it clears my rear diffuser, barely. The sound is super deep for my tastes but pretty loud. And here are the pics.

I will be getting better pics as soon as I get a buddy to snap a few.

yeah i know its loud , but i said *** THE POLICE. i also got my ticket in stop and go traffic. the cop was a state trooper and was in FRONT of me and pulled me over. the cops in my town dont care , but my county does

even though the helix is cheap (gary from gruppe-s also gave me a great deal on it since it took so long for my clutch to come) compared to a lot of exhausts especially the Ti's. ive wanted this catback since before i got my car
