Soon I'll be getting my final e85 tune with this "blessed" block, but I wanted to see if there was anyone else out there who was a part of the group buy for this block and already has had their "final/race" tune
If so, can you post: -whp/tq (what shop and dyno) -turbo used -head work (if any) -boost -fuel system -time slips (if any or a "kill list" will do) Thanks, I'm just curious.... Mine -whp/tq: TBD, still completing break-in...700 more miles to go -turbo: pte6262 w/.82 t3 hotside, journal bearing -head work: MPS stage 2 head package w/ 272 kelford cams -boost: TBD (maybe 32-36psi) -fuel system: full blown dual pumper w/twin aeromotive 340l pumps, -10an feed, -6an return, russell distribution block to -8an lines to the aeromotive rails, aeromotive FPR (will be on E85) -time slips: TBD (I'm hoping for mid 130trap speeds)

I was in on the group buy and I'm very curious to see results from others as well. My build is lagging a bit, but I'm looking to get everything wrapped up in the next two months. Long block is done, heads are being built as we speak.
Just a little highlight of what I'll be running: -MPS 2.34L long rod sleeved short block -MPS P+P Heads w/full Ferrea Valvetrain + Kelford 272s -BW S300SX 91-79 Twinscroll -Link G4 Plug In ECU -E85 |

IN FOR RESULTS!!!
ALSO post your redline please, im trying to see how much usable powerband there is and still good street spool, AND that can still make use of the 9k+ potential redline. |

^Keep in mind there is no reason to rev beyond what your turbo can support. And if you're after good street spool you dont want a turbo that gets going at 6000rpms. I think a 35R size (65lb/min) turbo should spool around the 4500-5000rpm mark and still hold power nicely to 8500+rpm. If you want 9000-10000rpms power potential you may want to consider a 40R size turbo but that will negativly effect your "good street spool." Obviously a lot of this is dependent on what headwork you have and cams you're using.

thats what im trying to find an even balance between steet drivibility and about 5-600WHP and a wide powerband for road racing.

I am curious to see someone use a quick spool valve with this motor to bring the power/torque in sooner....

you sir, are a good candidate for this engine then but I'd still size your cams a little on the small side. That being with how NASA dictates weight via power. That or run shorter final drive to make up your torque 'loss'. It'll also help with transient response/mid-range poewr which is what you'll be aiming to have for corner control. Then you can stretch out your top end on the straights though you won't quite have as much power. |

Relatively new engine package that only recently picked up much steam. We're just starting to get our engines. I went with the destroke 2.34 then boring out to 102.xx to keep a 2.5l. I like my torque Next spring it'll be a monster.
