I have full confidence they'll be able to handle his GT3582R twinscroll full-race setup.

I wouldnt get too caught up in the H vs I beam. Go off power rating and your power goal. The BC I Beams are rated around 250-300hp per cylinder which would give you plenty of head room in the future. For 600$ I think its worth the couple hundred over a cheaper H beam...or $50-100 over the H tuff

Been doing a ton of little stuff lately. Rewiring the wiring harness, deleting old plugs and sensor wires no longer being used. Doing some painting and cleaning. Stripped the sound deadening material and all items not being used from the interior.

Bump me back from the dead. Over the last year a ton of things have changed for me, not so much the car. Wife drained my account and slept with the neighbor to become my ex wife. Moved to Oklahoma. Machine shop dropped off the face of the earth for 10 months. Ugh.
Anyway! Car is in the garage and the build is back on. Stay tuned. |

Vision is shifting slightly. I'm looking into a custom V-Mount setup.

Spare tire well subwoofer removed and 10lbs of sound deadening was stuck to the metal, dry ice was no match, so...... lets yank it out all together.
Gigantic hole framed with 1"x1" aluminium stock. Sheet of aluminium shapped, cut, and drilled. Ready to be riveted in. Riveted, and fuel system componenets placed. |

Did you weight the factory trunk floor you cut out ?
Do you think you saved any weight ? (excluding spare tire, jack etc) Project look great so far. |

I did not, however coated in all that sound deadening and additional dynamat Crap that was in there from the sub woofer easily weighed four times that of the aluminum frame and sheet. I can say it's definitely a weight savings, how much exactly, I don't know.

Thanks. Yea, such is life though. No worries. Well, I've got a little girl due on July 4th (AMERICA!!!) so hoping for late summer/fall time frame for completion. But as all in depth projects go I'm sure it'll be after that.
