Default OEM Turbo Guage

Is the stock boost gauge accurate enough to set an MBC?

I installed the factory column mounted boost gauge and it read just below .1 MPa, stock. That is just under 14.5 PSI which is right on the mark for stock boost. I set my MBC to .11 MPa (15.95 PSI) using the gauge and have had no problems.
