Default is there a Subaru turbo list?

where on here can i search to see what turbos come on the cars from factory & what their boost limits, compressor maps, & max CFM rates are?? seems to be more complicated to find this stuff than for my EVO but i was interested in building a WRX or STI as a daily driver so i have the best of both worlds.

i want the most power i can get out of a stock turbo on 93octane pumpgas. i'm thinking a realistic & conservative number shld b around 300WHP. please correct me if i'm wrong but this will be a DD so max power is not the goal here.

for comparison, my '03 EVO runs 30PSI of boost on the stock turbo with a 104octane unleaded racegas tune with only a 3"TBE, drop-in K&N, Hallman MBC, & a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump. this car makes 324whp/376TQ. its being built up now to make 450whp but also to be as reliable as stock. of course being a Mitsu not even stock is reliable...

any help or advice will be taken with great appreciation

Keep in mind your motor and the STi motor have nothing in common.

this is exactly why i need to do more research. i merely added my EVO as a basis for my study. i know very little about the EJ motors + i'm not purchasing for at least 6months so it gives me time to pick a model, gather all my parts, decide on a tuner, & build it right one time as well as get it done right so it won't blow up in 3-6 months like some other guys i know in the PHX area

1000 thank yous on the list. that'll help narrow down a few things. i noticed there wasn't any info for the 2008-2009 models. is it because they are still to new or has it been the consensus that the majority of US subie folk are turned off by the new body designs? i haven't decided if i like them yet. my brother has a white '09 WRX in vegas with a few mods. he ran 13.86 @ arnd 96-97 on his cobbstage 1. he has cobb stage 2 now...

They're still fairly new.

Do you plan on keeping the evo or selling it for the STi? With bolt-ons, 300whp should be easy. (meth, EWG, protuned, etc.) and be pretty zippy for DD'ing. There's a few members here with stock turbo STi's running 11's. (with A+++ driving)

the evo will remain a weekend car. i would rather avoid meth. as far as ECU tuning goes, i may go with a MoTeC M800 PnP ECU & piggyback a MoTeC SDC3 to control the center diff. it doesn't need to run 11's but if i could run a mid 12 on pumpgas that would be sufficient

MoTeC for engine and DCCD management....do you poop diamonds or what? That's W A Y overkill. A daily driver would NOT need a DCCD controller ever. And using a MoTeC for even a hot tune is like using a Strativarius for the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Sell that crap and buy something much cheaper...seriously!

utec is fairly cheap and is a great piggy back system...or you could go all out and get the hydra.

also, why do you not want to run meth? do you just not want to bother with getting into that deep, or do you have something against it...im just curious (im wanting to go water/meth this summer, so im really interested in this stuff )
