Most "closed deck" blocks I argue are actually reinforced decks since they're just dowl pinned and don't have external feeds for the coolant to get to the head.

I'll make an exception this one time.

Damn.

You sure you want to put that in your car instead of making a coffee table out of it? Shame to hid something so pretty.

This is stepped and precisely machined and pressed into the block from what I understand but it's proven to increase cylinder wall strength.

But yes it's a gorgeous piece none the less and as much as its visually appealing I more so appreciate the job it's doing internally but it would make a good coffee table base

So car made 323whp/330wtq on a land&sea dyno which tends to read low I guess but they're not done. That number was with the MAF maxed out so they are going to MAF/SD hybrid tune on Monday and get a little more out of her.

So car went back on the dyno finally we were having issues with the IAG fuel rails. We attempted to install Radiam Fuel Dampners and they wouldn't seal kept pissing fuel everywhere so we said screw it and just went with Radiam fuel rails. Power wise that's as far as my tuner wanted to go since I'm still running the 5 speed currently. So once I throw the 6 speed in we can get a little more out of it. But for now not to shabby, so after the 6 speed I'm gonna bang out some suspension work, I got some used Fortune Auto 510s on the way that I'm gonna get rebuilt and then after that off to my buddy Adam to get this thing painted thinking black will go good with the bronze Cosmis wheel I have and gonna need some flares to fit the 10.5 wide wheels. Stay tuned

So started prepping the car for the body shop,I painted the inside of a new oem trunk I picked up locally as well as a diver side fender. Always fun spraying panels really enjoy the end result, sprayed these with a Devilbiss FLG-5/SGK all OMNI ppg products.

Shortly after that I dropped it off at the body shop and they've sent me these photos so far of the progress.
