Went to TDY to Amsterdam for 3 weeks one time. The Dutch Air Force really
knows how to party! They'd shut down operations at like 1400 to go drink some beer at the chow hall.
Fort Huachuca does suck! I have to go there once a year for a GIPC conference. The only good thing about that place is that it's by Tombstone, and Bisbee!

AFAIK, you have to be E-7 to have a POV in Korea. I think all officer's can have them.

Been deployed three times, twice with the Air Force. First deployment was to Ramstein, Germany (Air Force) in support of NATO operations in Kosovo and Bosnia. Second deployment was to Al Udied (Air Force) in support of OIF and OEF (flew missions in both AOs). Third was to Tikrit, Iraq (Army) as part of a MiTT Team. Best TDYs (Both Air Force) were when we got to play with a Navy Seal Boat Team. Those guys were a blast to hang out with. Work was hard, playing was harder! Stayed in Ft Walton Beach at condo's on the oceanfront. Second best TDY was flying support for the Vice-President during campaign time. Nice places (Michigan State, we enjoyed the environment), and interesting people.

Don't take anything during training personal. That is the most important thing I can tell you. The rest you must experience.
