Let's see what happens with US<->Japan tariffs first.
Then, we'll see what is what. I think that, if these tariffs negotiations go sideways, Subaru may come to regret not having Crosstrek and Forester built in Indiana...

But, SGP would make for a "rapid" fix to that problem I think.

I don't really see how hard it'd be to make the Crosstrek stateside. I know they heavily discussed it (I was told this at my tour). Is there anything else besides cladding and suspension (struts/springs) that differentiates the Crosstrek and Impreza? I've been debating making my Impreza Sport a Crosstrek "Special Edition" just for kicks.

Factory tinted glass (in most states) and rated for towing (not that the rating means anything.. it's just a legal difference).
