Injector pulse issue?
I'm working with tuning my ej after pervious owner tried modding the poor car.
I'm on my 4th log with my tuner and he said he's noticing a random issue where the injectors aren't being turned back on when returning to idle but can't pin point exactly why based off the data logs. I I'm running ID 1050x with the adaptors on the ej harness. Is there anything I should look for that might be causing the injectors to not be turned back on when returning to idle? Tuner states it only does it randomly and not consistently.

You may want to look into the following areas:
1.Injector Harness Connections •Ensure the injector adapters are seated securely and the connections are solid. Sometimes adapters can create intermittent electrical contact issues, especially if the fit is loose or the pins aren’t fully engaged. 2.Grounding Issues •Poor engine or ECU grounds can cause random injector control issues. Double-check all grounds for the ECU, injectors, and general engine harness. Clean and tighten them to ensure good electrical continuity. 3.ECU Injector Control •If you’re using an aftermarket ECU or a reflash, confirm the injector latency settings for the ID 1050x are correctly programmed. Incorrect settings could potentially cause injectors to stay off in specific conditions. 4.Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve •A malfunctioning IAC valve or throttle body could interfere with the ECU’s ability to manage idle, leading to injector control anomalies. Check the IAC valve for proper operation and cleanliness. 5.Fuel System Check •While less likely, issues with fuel pressure at idle can also cause injector anomalies. Verify that your fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump are functioning correctly, especially under low-load idle conditions. 6.Electrical Noise or Interference •Electrical noise in the injector signal wires could cause the ECU to misfire injector signals. Ensure the wiring for the injectors is not too close to high-current lines, such as alternator or ignition coil wiring. (Probably not it) 7.Random Misfire Detection or Fuel Cut Logic •Some ECU settings might trigger a fuel cut under specific conditions, such as detecting a random misfire. Reviewing your ECU settings for misfire detection thresholds and idle control strategies with your tuner could help pinpoint if this is the cause. Check the wiring on the adaptors, as loose connections might be causing the issue. Make sure the injector settings in the tune, like latency and pulse width, are spot on. Also, inspect grounding and alternator output to avoid signal problems.
