I already have an AP. i just have about another 550 miles and oil change to go before flashing stage 1. it is that noticeable? i remember on my 06, stg 2 was WAY more noticeable then stg 1. regardless the stock tune does feel a bit weird.

Yeah, it is that noticeable for these cars (2009+). They're so stunted from the factory (not to be confused with "stuntin'").

Stock tune sucks balls. Well worth the cost of a tune or even an AP right away.

Overlays. Got them done at the same time as my window tints by a local shop. I contemplated getting the bluebatoverlays like everyone and their mom is doing but try just calling up your preferred tint shop in your area and see if they can do tail overlays for you too.

Mine even have a lifetime warranty just like my tints.

I'll be purchasing an 09 DGM soon, but these pics make me want an '11 so badly. Do i go with the 09 or do i wait forever on the off chance that i'll find a 2011 in my budget. Stupid decisions. I wish they woulda left the widebody/fender flares strictly to the STi so that the people with >2011 WRX's wouldn't feel so bad.

Can you get some better pics of the black lip on DGM paint?? I love the color of the paint under the garage light. I want to do the whole HT bottomline kit and am wondering if the black on DGM would look terrible or not.

I don't really have much better pics than the ones I've put on flickr but to address you concern, the black plastic of the lip gives a subtle outline to the car. Sure it won't match DGM paint but if you have the rallyarmour mudflaps, it really matches them well.

I personally think it complements the paint color well and is enough difference to make a good impression on the body. At night, as you know, our DGM paint really looks aggressive and pretty much like a shimmering OBP. The black plastic lip melds in perfectly imo.

The only thing I would do to make the lip look better on the car is to get it lowered and reduce the wheel gap. Hope that helps and thanks for the compliments bro.

How is the quality and fitment of the lip? Is it fiberglass and stiff or plastic and semi forgiving?

+1. Either way if I get this then I'm putting about 500 screws in the sucker. If it snags then my bumper comes off with it!!!
