Also this small snippet just shows this is not entirely new, but it is much easier to place blame on the scrub refs I guess.

Game, set, match.

Everyone's bitching their panties about the obvious. OF COURSE "replacement refs" are going to screw up worse than the real deal. But it's hilarious how everyone thinks that GET THEM BACK NOW will fix the problem.

And the problem? Human beings are ****ing human. Deal with it.

how can the most accurate kicker of all time missed ALL THREE field goals? it's mind boggling.

I don't understand why people are having a hard time taking everything into account. Yes, Jennings had two hands on the ball and Tate had one. When they touched the ground and completed the catch, Tate had two hands on the ball.

Blown calls against the Seahawks as well. That PI call against Chancellor, if not called, would have forced GB to punt. Instead they get the phantom penalty, go down and score the TD. Also the blown call with Rogers trying to stretch for a 1st down after the PI on the same drive.

Besides that drive, the Seahawks defense hammered the Packers offense. You can't ignore getting shutout in the first half and giving up eight sacks.

Dear lord, the Seahawks get jobbed in SB XL, nobody gives a ****. The Packers get jobbed in a MNF game and the world is going to burn.
simply putting two hands on the ball does not necessarily constitute having possession. I don't understand why you are having a hard time taking that into account...

its the main reason they use instant replay

in some cases they still get it wrong even when you can see on the replay that the call on the field was wrong

sometimes its inconclusive...the camera cant get every angle and sometimes the clarity of the shot isnt good enough to see whats going on

There are more BS calls in 1 game, not one week, but one game than there is in the NFL the entire season with the real referees.

The level of screw up is just immense.

it's true, he had one of his worst performances in that game (he did get a 1 yd TD run though) he threw a couple interceptions and just couldn't connect with his receivers...still they only lost by 3 points (17-14) so EVEN IF KAEDING HAD ONLY MISSED TWO FIELD GOALS THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A CHANCE!

hehe. i'm done.

But seriously why are so many matter-of-fact decisions not reviewable under the rules. Possession, after the 'whistle', fumble and all the other non-reviewable issues...if you're going to have instant replay, then why not just let everything be reviewable. Sure it might add some time to a random game here and there, but the whole mission of the NFL the last couple of years was to take as much out of the hands of the Ref's screwing up a game...

Watching the replays again... you know what I think pisses me off the most about this?

The fact that the refs were trying to clean up the mess that was everybody fighting over the ball, and there's two freaking cameramen jamming their lenses into the pile.

After what happened to Antrel Rolle last Thursday, I officially hate cameramen.

Dallas will be at home, so hopefully they'll blow the game the cowboys direction.

Even with all this outrage, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't weeks or more until the referee situation is resolved. So I'm just going to pretend like the league is actually playing fantasy football for now.

Or you could do what the rest of us normal people are doing: chalk it up to "it is what it is," and just freaking enjoy football. There are ALWAYS blown calls costing games, every single freaking year.

I can't wait till the playoffs when people start saying "WELL IT DOESN'T COUNT BECAUSE REFS, WE SHOULD BE CHAMPS." That'll be even better.

The NFL has to figure out how to minimize the official's labor costs that, even with their current demands are less than 1% of the league revenue. If the Goodell cares about player safety and the integrity of the game, he will find a way to get the real officials back on the field ASAP. If not, well, he can

r0b, I'm not sure if you've ever watched football before, but this year is rather different than mere "blown calls". Sure, that happens... but its 10x worse. Its bad.

I can hear the Packer fans already with this rant. At least as a Bears fan, I know if we don't make it to the playoffs we can only blame ourselves. We're used to defeat.

Rolle plowed into a cameraman sitting off the field doing his job, how is that the cameraman's fault? I think the cameraman took the brunt of that hit anyway. Imagine a viewfinder getting plowed into your face thanks to the flying knee of an NFL player running at full tilt...

I'm sensitive to this, because I used to be a cameraman. The motto you learn to live by is "they'll either hate you during the job, or they'll hate you after the job". If you're a pain in the ass and always seem to be in someone's way, that means you're getting the best shots
