Played with the circular polarizer this time. Canon 5D Mk III with Canon 50 1.2 L. Quick color in Lightroom.

Thanks! Polarizer makes a big difference with reflections. I highly recommend playing around with one.

Now you just gotta learn how to blend multiple photos with different polarizations to completely eliminate reflections on all parts of the car.

Ugly composition but it's been three years since I've had "SPOOL1NG" plates. (We had moved to NYC and I didn't own a car). All of my old WRX said it but in a different color. The DMV has been holding the combination for me all these years.

LOVE the color and vert unique plate. Been thinking about custom license plates myself

Bought a spare trunk, bought a pre-painted OEM style wing (not one of the super cheap ebay ones, this one is pretty solid), mounted it up yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it. It's not 100% perfect, theres a couple tiny tiny measurements that are off but it's something only I will notice. Gonna put the trunk with the lip away for a while.

Are there any differences between the 2017 and 2018 models cosmetically?

Have you been living under a rock? What does this even mean. There is a lot of changes from 17 to 18 that has been discussed and debated in great detail on this forum

Not a fan of the new cars and there's barely any variation between the posted cars so I don't really browse this topic, at a glance they look identical

  • Front bumper and grille are all new
  • Headlight internals are new - Steering responsive LED available
  • STI does not have turn signals (now in headlight) or fog lights in bumper (no fogs at all)
  • STI Brembo calipers are 6/2 piston in highlighter yellow (neon green)
  • STI rims are 19"
  • Interior updates - Recaro seats w/ red leather bolsters & grey UltraSuede insert, leather wrapped center dash, red seat belts, piano black accents, larger digital screen above center stack, etc.

Thought this was pretty cool - had my car in the shop for a tint and PPF.

The main differences are cosmetic, actually. New bumper/grill/fascia, new wheels and brakes, interior is spruced up a bit, multifunction display and gauges are nicer, etc.

Mechanically the car is pretty much the same, exact same motors as in the 2015-2017 models. New synchros for the WRX. Not much else.

I guess the ECU is different? I'm still waiting for Cobb to come up with an Accessport.

More filling in the headliner and thicker glass to reduce road noise as well

Cheers for the reponses that didn't immediately jump to anger.

Pretty sure this topic and the 14-17 thread should be merged though, iuno if a essentially a bumper constitutes a new thread, it's like the "RED ONLY Bugeye photos!" they're damn pointless compared to the bugeye thread
