Love how that looks! Is that carbon fiber 3, 4 or 5D? Also was it hard to install and where did you get the red for the grill? I live in NJ as well and got my car in Budd Lake.

It's the 5D carbon fiber, its got a nice sheen to it and looked better than the other imo. The red is from jdmfv.com, i got it to get the free shipping lol I needed to spend $5 to get the like $6 or 7 shipping free and that was $10 haha

I actually factory ordered my car from 46, but long story short got my deposit back and bought mine in Morristown haha. I'm sure I'll see your's around somewhere, there aren't too many '17 out here yet. Enjoy the car!

Well it looks great! I am putting on wind deflectors, overlays and already got 20% tint on the lithium red pearl. It looks awesome and the overlays will totally make it!! Is yours the 4 or 5 door?

You should email Lightwerkz. They're really good about responding. It was just too much for me to want to tackle on my own.

Just spoke to my tech at Subaru. Not a good idea to replace the Sport headlights with the Limited cause it’ll possibly fry the BIU. He said we could probably get it to work. But he doesn’t suggest it cause it could cause other problems. Just throwing that out there. Maybe wait until after warranty is up.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll ask Lightwerkz to check with the guy they did the swap for and see if his still works.

BIU is about a $500 part, but maybe I can swap for the one in the Limited and call it good... This thing is getting obscenely expensive quick. Lol

The aero is stateside now. You can order the parts online or through the dealer. They're in the accessories booklet or you can find the part numbers in this thread, I think, where I posted them.

Went ahead and put the winter wheels on

Refinished an old set of L/GT wheels, I have always had a thing for 5 star rims

I post using pics from my phone using the NASIOC app. When you're in a thread, at the very bottom you can reply. On the left side of the reply box there's an Up arrow. That'll give you more options. Select the picture icon. Select your picture. It'll generate a url for you.

There is no up arrow just a box that says “please enter URL of your image”

So I did the same. The LEDs in by the license plate look so clean now, but I put white LEDs in the interior dome and all but found it to be WAYYYYYY TOOO bright. People would get into my car and genuinely get blinded.

Do you feel the same with your interior LEDs?

Not at all. It’s brighter but not blinding. What lumens or how many LEDs?

New to this forum... Just picked up a 17' Impreza Limited hatch yesterday. I'm wondering what options there are for garage door openers? From what I gather there is a Subaru auto-dimming/homelink mirror but would that be compatible with my Impreza? Didn't know if they need power or not. Are they semi universal or do I need a Subaru one?

Can you link me to the LEDs you got for the interior? I'm curious to the ones you got, may grab them!

bryen where do you live?

I am worried that my car is so low it will affect snow performance and here you are lowering yours!

Hope you don't live in a snow belt state. Looks great though.
