I highly doubt that, for part number 2634AA000 which is the part he most likely needs, you can't get it cheaper from a dealer. I promise you that.

I am not offended at all, just stating the facts.

But it's so fun. Do you mind me asking what your price is?

Im not posting anything on here, thats also not allowed. I am allowed to sell at any price but the MAP only allows me to technically "advertise" so low. You should know this. Im also not officially a vendor on here yet so I do not want to violate those terms as well.

I wasn't asking you to sell anything to me just asking you what the price was on an OEM part. There is no MAP price on OEM parts.

Thanks everyone for your input and offers! I also spoke to my mechanic today just to see if he knew of any other possible minor/stupid causes since he works on so many cars everyday. But he said with that code it's usually the sensor or connection/wire problem. My plan is to look for a used one for now, check the wiring and grounding kit to take that out of the mix. Thanks again!

Is anyone looking for some cheap 5x100's?

I am selling a set wheels with tires if so.. Located in the Robinson area.

Rota Attack v2's
17x7.5 +48
5x100
Hankook V4's
225/45/17

Wheels are silver, and near mint. Tires are driveale, but I'd replace them soon. No center caps, but can include lugnuts.

Will meet, deliver, or you can pick up. Whatever works. Would be great to replace, use as a backup set, or for snows. No damage or bends.

350 cash or Paypal. And no, I'm not going any lower. Pics available. Post or PM.

Well I got the HPTuners to see my ECU without bricking it, read the stock map, enabled the vehicle credits for editing and set up the standalone logger. This stuff is complicated. Hopefully I can get some logs one of these days and see what it's all doing. There's just so much 'compensation' stuff everywhere, I'm not sure where I would start. Plus you gotta pull the rear seat bottom to get to the radio fuse and pull that so the security system doesn't interrupt the damn OBDII comms. And that's just to read the thing. I'm almost afraid to write to it. Reading it takes 5 min at high speed. It looked like it would do a low-speed read in about 20 minutes without disabling the radio. Talk about stressful. At least Romraider was smart enough to disable all the stuff that isn't used on the ECU you are looking at. I'm not sure this does that; it looks like you have to sift through every option ever made for a GenIII LS motor to get to the stuff your car actually uses.

Gonna take some time to get used to I guess. Lotsa lookin before 'tryin'. At least the suby would write in like 30 sec without doing anything other than flipping the switch under the dash (green connectors) so you could reasonably try stuff and see what happens. And quickly undo anything you messed up if it was a bad move. Seems I'm gonna have to be more deliberate and actually learn what I'm doing before doing it. Not my strong suit, admittedly. I like to get in the middle of a mess and figure it out as I go.

I can see the appeal. I guess one of my first steps is gonna be a hidden switch to remotely open that fuse from the driver seat. But damn I got spoiled by the 20-30 second write in ecuflash. That was pretty close to RTT. HPT does do that on newer ecu's but I've got a dinosaur so I guess I'm just glad it does standalone logging from the handheld interface.

Do you know of any good online reading about SD control loops or frequency based MAF signals? I guess the latter is self explanatory really, and probably more accurate than a DC sensor?

I know nothing about VE and SD stuff though. And that's not self explanatory to me.

Hey guys, big weekend up at Pitt Race. A little something for everyone.

The Steel Cities SCCA Wounded Warrior Charity Autox is Saturday and Sunday and raises a lot of money for a good cause. Even if you don't want to run your car this is a good event to come spectate, with a large turnout (usually) and a chance to donate. Go to www.motorsportreg.com for info or to register. I know there are a few guys here who autox occasionally or haven't tried it but have talked about it...this is a great event to participate. Unfortunately I'll only be able to make it on Saturday.

There are also Flashlight Drags on Saturday at Pitt Race. Racing is 2 - 6 and costs $25
Pitt Race Flashlight Drags

Also, there is another TrackCross on October 26th (a Saturday!) from 10am - 4pm. That's 6 hours for 60 bucks which is just a STOOPID good deal.

Anyone do taillight overlay installs around the south hills area or know someone or someplace that will? I tried team nutz but they said they don't do them. I really don't have the time or patience to do them myself and would like them done right the first time. I already own them.

From an end-user perspective Hz vs g/sec is the same as V vs g/sec.

Pull the radio fuse to read/write? Wow, lol.

The way GM does SD is a really super long complex 3D equation. So when you adjust the VE map, you are really adjusting the coefficients of that equation. But, I know EFILive backcalculates that into a simple VE map, which you can tune and the software automatically converts it into GM-speak. They call it 'Virtual VE', and that's what you adjust. Does HPT have something similar?

bosch systems that use that have like 4 IAT sensors.

besides, you know how i feel about bosch. however my mind can be changed with sound logic.

That's what I thought about the MAF. Even the curve looks the same.

There is a 3D VE table. I guess that's what you adjust since there is no 'target fueling' right? So that's how you get the open loop fuel where you want it?
