Fresh rebuild/fresh code
I just rebuilt my 257, and I'm just starting to break it in. I've thrown a code twice so far, engine bank 1 lean p0171. The code has only popped up if I'm too low RPM wise, approx 2k. Should I be worried at all? Or should I just to keep the revs slightly higher?

Is this a stock rebuild on your 257? Where you running mods before the rebuild? If so you may need to get a touch up tune.
As soon as my motor was finished I started data logging and sending the logs to my tuner. On 91 I was getting knock all over. On e85 it was okay at first but at around 800miles on the motor I started running lean all over the place, so my tuner got that fixed after that it has been smooth sailing. |

I put in some forged pistons during the rebuild. I was stage 2 before build. I'm currently on the stage 2 map during the break in period, then my builder will tune it. I guess I should be data logging to check things out though
