No thanks.

Pinchot is/will be the home for this meet, at least this year. Make sure to come on out!

We have multiple shops that are offering gift certificates/swag for the raffle!

Another major player has contacted me, we'll be in talks to see what roll they will play.

Things are progressing quite nicely. This is going to be THE annual Subaru meet you'll want to attend.

Technically, all cars will be welcome.

We just might make you park a few rows back.

Either way, it's going to be a great meet!

Our local Dealership (Cumberland Valley Motors) has contacted me and expressed interest in being involved with the event. How much they donate, depends on the turn out. All forums together, we're currently at about 60 cars. They've also offered to have a new STi on display, assuming one is available on that day.

My count was off, as of last night, the "yes" count across all forums was 84!

Goal: 100 cars on BBQ day, DREAM? 200. Ooooo I can smell the rows and rows of burgers on the grill NOW!

Wow, CVM is actually getting involved with something? I'm shocked.

No need to be shocked. Cumberland Valley Motors has always been good to me. I have bought many parts from them, and always walk out feeling good about doing business with them. They contacted me. Although I did e-mail someone withing the company, I was contacted by them before word had gotten to the right people. Make no mistake, CVM FTW!

Oh I'm not knocking the employees. I've had good service, as well. But they've never been really forum-friendly. Or mod-friendly. And you have to wait about six months to usually see a turbo model in the parking lot.

I've always been saddened, by that. They've got a prime opportunity to ramp it up, and be a real name for SPT/STi/etc. Especially being across the street from Sun Motor Cars and all.

I have seen plenty of turbo models on the lot. For some time they were actually the #1 STi seller in the MAIC area. And, IMO, the STi offers alot of optional accessories. If your buying one new, I would rather pick mine out. Part by part, color by color. Does it go against the instant gratification that most Americans live on? Sure. I've actually been thinking about bringing my STi down and seeing what they would give me for it... on a trade in. Sedan.... or hatch.... or SEDAN.... or the hatch.... But I dream.

Im definetly going to plan on being there for the barbecue and be bringing my girlfriend and one of my best friends.

I do have a couple of questions though, when would it start because im over near pittsburgh, PA and it will take me a while to get over there and would we need to bring anything like food or will you be taking care of all of it.
