Magnaflow for barely $500 shipped from CVR Motorsports is the best deal, but I've heard a few now and find it too loud. I could go that route I suppose, but I'd absolutely have to have a long resonator welded into the midpipe.

I like the SPT's sound, the best. But yes I know it's overpriced, I'd be finding a used one. There's occasionally a couple around.
If it's too loud, your too old......

And yes SPT is way overpriced. I have a Megan Cat back on my Spec B and I love the sound. It's not as loud as my Greddy on the WRX but it still has a nice sound too it. You will have to give it a listen and the BBQ and tell me what you think.

And now back to your regularly scheduled thread.....

I'd kill for an SPT CBE for my GT.
I highly doubt they will be giving away anything that expensive. If they did, it would be for an 04-05 STi.

Then I'm "too old". I'm very happy with that moniker, considering who I'm often being compared to.

On another note, who wants to bet we have a bunch of Flat billed Ken Block Bro-Dawgs show up at this?

Can we make a no flat billed Bro-Hat rule?

Sounds good to me. But I'm just a nearly 34-year-old geriatric, who wears jeans that actually go up around his waist. What do I know?

I'm sure there are people that would be more than willing to help design a logo for this bbq. Let me know if there are any issues.

Unofficially, yes.

Myself, as well as Nate met with CVM briefly last night. I'll be receiving a subarbu swag catalog in the mail to browse. We'll be finalizing as time goes on. We're debating other shops, and will be starting to contact local business's over the next month.

Is it August yet?

If there's going to be a massive turnout, maybe we should do up some stickers for the event?

We should probably make up a "Code of Conduct" or Rules for the BBQ.

I know a lot of us are "mature" adults, but we all know about what asshattery that can happen when you get a bunch of car guys together.

I haven't been to meets regularly in a really long time, but usually the meet coordinator just made it known that general acts of asshattery wouldn't be tolerated. Act up, and get out. Pretty simple.

Like said above the rules are like all car meets. No douchebaggery, no burnouts...if not in awd lol, don't litter, etc, etc. It is a park so we will be sharing this with other people, even though we have a HUGE part of the area we still need to be respectful of others and have a good time.

Just found out today I should have my GigaPan Camera to bring along for this meet.

Should be able to take some awesome photos with it.

+1

It only takes a few asshats to get a bad rep for the entire group.
Plus I'd like to bring my girlfriend and son and not worry about how people will be acting.

Thank you thank you thank you for the support!

As far as asshattery, I am hoping to have some local smokeys in the immediate area.

I truly believe the Subaru community is a more mature community. Let's hope this holds true.

Also, I handed out at least 50 flyers for this at Carlisle Performance and Style today. As well as a friend handed out about 20.

Soooo hopefully this thread picks up some traffic.

I handed out fliers to people DRIVING Subaru's, or placed them on windshields of Subaru's. No Ken Block Fan boys.
