Thumbs up Best dealership ever! Condrin Subaru in Pennsylvania.

Condrin Subaru in Altoona Pennsylvania is by far the easiest to work with dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

Recently my 2002 5-speed WRX sedan with 32,000 miles was rear ended (two days after I spent $500 mounting Blizzak WS-50s on it ) and had approximately $5100 in damages. Fueled by fear of implosion of the 5MT in my 2002 WRX, I decided to look for a deal on a STi. I spent the better part of two days calling literally over 50 dealers in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York.

I explained my situation to all of the dealers; I told them that I was willing to trade my wrecked WRX and the $5100 check from the insurance company in on a STi, and that I was interested in the best price difference they could offer me. I gave them my cell phone number and asked them to call me back with an offer.

Condrin Subaru immediately responded with an awesome price. Of all of the dealers that responded over the next couple of days, Condrin Subaru offered the best price. There was no haggling, no hassle, no beating around the bush to get a price; none of the normal bull that makes buying a car such a hassle.

Above offering the best price, Condrin Subaru was also exceedingly easy to work with. I told them that unfortunately it might be a week or so before I could buy the STi because the insurance check was still “in the mail.” They said not to worry, just to write them a check and then when I get my insurance check, deposit it, call them, and then they will cash my check. They bent over backwards delaying part of my down payment (their money) to get me into the car as quickly as possible. That’s just one example of how Condrin Subaru took every step necessary to make sure I was taken care of and happy. There was no waiting a few days to pick the car up; I told them I wanted to buy the STi and they told to come up the same day and pick it up if I wanted, they would prep it for me.

Thinking things couldn’t get any better, I went to the dealership to do the final paperwork. This was an absolute dream. My salesman (Telly “The Greek” Vasilis) actually knew about the STi! What a rarity, a salesman that actually knows something about the product he is selling. The entire process at Condrin Subaru was so smooth and quick. I could have been in the dealership, done the paperwork, and been driving away in my STi within 15 minutes! The only reason it took me an hour was because it was so enjoyable talking to my salesman Telly and the manager Jay Boggs.

If you go to have a look see salesman Telly “The Greek” Vasilis, the salesman who actually knows something about the product he is selling. Tell him Joe Stoffa from NASIOC.com sent you, as Telly found it unbelievable that there was a Subaru Impreza specific site on the internet with over 40,000 members

Overall this dealership is an A+. I highly recommend them. This is high praise coming from me, I’m more the type to use the term stealership than dealership, but Condrin Subaru is absolutely wonderful.
