Angry I just got an e-mail from SOA...

They said that they have no plans for an H-6 GT, but that I should look at an Outback. I don't want an Outback, stupid Subaru. I guess I have to keep looking for that Legacy Turbo.

Don't get your panties in too much of a bunch. SOA has no idea what they are talking about. They never tell you something is coming out til it's already been announced. Heck my dealer didn't even know the H6 Outback was even in existance.

I'm going to lease a '00 GTLimited with a 5 speed and in 3 years they'll have out the H6.

I just got a form letter back saying they "At this time, we have no knowledge if any of our other models will be equipped with a six cylinder engine. For updated information, we request you contact us again late summer."

In my request i told em i really want one and that my lease was up in august on my rodeo and i would go with an audi A4 2.8 if no H6 is available by then....

Of course I won't get the audi, but they don't know that... If we each get 10 people to write them telling em we are going to get the audi if they don't come out with the H6 legacy, i bet they'll offer it as an option...

Mike, those are actually the two cars the wife is going to be choosing from when we move back. I was hoping hte Legacy would have the H6 by then. That is too bad about only putting it in a Outback. At least they could have put it in the Forester. The Outback is one Subaru I would never ask the wife to drive. For some reason it just bothers me. Now maybe an updated (new front end) 2.5L OBS or hopefully a H6 Legacy GT. I sent them my email when I read the first post. I can gaurantee that if they don't come up with a H6 Legacy the wife will go for a Audi. Maybe Mazda will make that AWD Turbo Protege? I can always dream....

There's also that new BMW 330xi. That looks sweet, but probably a little out of my price range.

The Beemer will be way out there in price. The closest thing will be the audi. I'm just going to go with the 2.5GT Limited and when the lease is up in 3 years, i'll get the H6 legacy after the bugs are worked out.

I finally got an answer from SOA when I asked them about the H6. They said they have no intentions of releasing one at this time. They won't even speculate on future releases (we figured that out already). They did say they were seriously looking at producing the STX. Not sure if the same 2.5L engine and water cooled supercharger will be part of it. Lets hope cause then maybe they will offer forced induction as a factory part.
