Sorry man!! Have tons of them just out to sea. Home in like 7/8 days. Will post then.

I didn't think anyone was looking or cared. Aluminum frame for cell worked out great. Very sturdy and easy to build/remove. 6061 sheet of aluminum is riveted in car. Bolts go through frame, metal sheet and into fuel cell. Looks very good and clean. Pics soon fellas.

MP- send me some pics! Dying to see/ get this turbo kit!

No worries. The 7064 is about a 50lb/min turbo depending on PR. With the TS/AWIC setup it should spool really well.

MP is taking care of the intercooler/manifold design and I will do all of the pumps/plumbing/reservoirs.

The motor is a built 2.3L. It is going in my 02 wagon which has a full STI drivetrain and brakes and lots of the whiteline suspension catalog. The exterior is mostly stock so there is little warning aside from the wheels, brakes, and exhaust.

The mustang/camaro boys will never know what hit'em. I think you would appreciate that

Ok so good size turbo. Yeah that and awic it's going to be nasty. I'm sure on e85 or Race gas with kill tune and some ice you can do some crazy things with it!!

And yeah sleeper from hell or sounds like! Post some pics!

Here we go fellas. Still missing its custom skid plate on the bottom. Will be going back in with a new aluminum driveshaft and SPT shift linkage!

We're really excited to be working with Wallace on this build! He likes to think on the esoteric side of things like we do The up-pipe is 95% done - just have to get some FARO data with the EFR; we have it with the Garrett GTX35r, since we built another top-mount-based up-pipe for Ken - a Forester XT owner. The nice thing is we managed to get a 3.5" hot IC pipe in there, which should prove to help out those with big boost dreams on top mount configs.

If this setup spools better than the non EFR BW stuff that we've been messing with (and it should), then it should make peak torque pretty durn low in the RPM range, but still belt out 500 whp. We'll see!

Yeah I went through about 4the cans of engine degreaser and 2how cans of brake clean and a container of mineral spirits to prep it for primer and paint. I used just a heavy duty engine enamel. No one will ever see it but I take my time on my car and do it all right. Like my underside I took about a week and sanded off all the loose rust and painted with rust encapsulator from eastwood and then herculiner over that. Then all my hub assemblies, diff, diff carrier have all been sand blasted and re-powdercoated. Its basically a showroom car again except with a 2.1 EJ207 a Crawford CP30r, and a roll cage lol.

Reason I ask you about your fuel cell stretch is because aim looking to do the same and there isnt much to work off of on the forums on how people do it. I am looking to run e85 and intank pumps just womt cut it so I figured if I am going to do an external pump with surge tank lets go all out.

Great stuff! Can't wait to see it when it's done.

if you're looking for an elegant solution for external pumps:

We're dealers for these, so shoot over a PM and we can get you some pricing. They're a bit spendy, but awesome awesome setups that can come all ready for E85 use, with AN fittings, etc. etc. They also have a single 044 external setup for lower power levels.

I was looking at those or the Radium FST. Personally I'd love to do a fuel cell like stretch to shave off a few pounds but I just can't decide. It's just going to be 100% track use with e85 all the time. Once stretch posts up a few more pics of how he mounted his tank and ran his fuel lines then I'll decide I think. I will for sure keep you guys posted though if I do go that route. Money really isn't an issue I'm just never able to make up my mind.

Something you gentlemen should consider, and something I am planning to do on the track car, is a Fuel Safe cell with a built in high volume low pressure pump that fills an internal surge tank in the cell. You can then use a pair of external pumps (the setup MP recommended looks excellent) to do the pumping duties to the engine bay.

It is a much more elegant solution than many I have seen. Credit to Sierra Sierra for the inspiration.
