Default JDM STi Pedals in my 02 WRX

I bought the JDM STi pedals that Subie gal was having such a great deal on - $40 Anyway, how did you guys install the dead pedal? Looks like I'm going to have to drill some holes as the original mount was made for a GC8.

Any advice?

Yes, those are the directions that came with the pedals. See the mount in the last pic that the dead pedal bolts to? That won't fit in the WRX. I was wondering if other guys just did some drilling or if there was a way to make it fit that I didn't think of.

yep, looks like he just drilled and bolted it in. I plan on doing mine a bit lower so I can cover up the lower carpet snap.

I might try to mutilate the mount that came with the pedals and bolt just the plate that to the factory mount, that way teh STi dead pedal will bolt up perfectly.

I got everything installed except the dead pedal. That little jut out on the accel pedal REALLY help with heel toe. And here I thought the STi pedals were just bling.

And sumo, she sold out of the pedals long ago.

This looks really cool, although I wouldn't mind a larger dead pedal.

This was also the hardest part of my install.

Finally, the planets aligned under a waning moon. I heard a wolf cry in the distance. I knew that this was the moment. I screamed the magick words "MOTHER****ER" and the bolt slid through on the other side.

There's no trick to it that I could figure. Just gotta mess around till you find the other hole.
